Juan (Bocachica Real’s Director): “Nico! Our team is organizing the 2020 Bocachica Real Games, and I want to level-up the experience for athletes, coaches and the community in the island.”

Bocachica Real was created in 2014 as a choice for young athletes in Bocachica; an island located in the southwestern Cartagena’s region.
Cartagena is a top tourist destination in Colombia, but just few people know the reality of many who live in the surrounding areas.
Lack of opportunities and corruption from local authorities and governments has deeply affected the quality of life for many and limited the choices for young population.
The mission of Bocachica Real is to train high-performance athletes to compete in different sports around Colombia, and hopefully, in other countries, to then inspire more athletes inside the community.
High-performance training doesn’t build just physical strength, but also mental endurance and discipline.
Bocachica Real was able to create its first annual championship since 2019 with the help of coaches who live in the island, and volunteers and sponsors from all over Colombia.
Musgo visited Bocachica and registered the competitive level of the athletes of all ages during the games.
The result of Musgo’s design, production process, and collaboration during the games was well received and appreciated by the athletes, coaches, volunteers and Bocachica’s community.
